Our tradition teaches that gratitude is the key to flourishing, and yet noticing the blessings of our everyday lives takes practice. Jewish tradition offers us a pathway to that sacred practice. Join us as together we unlock our hearts and souls through the power of blessing and gratitude. (Note: This session will be offered twice.)
Communal conversations around Judaism so often emphasize the spiritual and intellectual. What about the physical? How do we engage our bodies as we activate and nurture our Jewish identities? In this experiential session led by our clergy, we will contemplate a variety of ways that movement can deepen our connection to Judaism. (Note: This session will be offered twice.)
From the very beginning, Judaism has been obsessed with questions. Why are we here, what makes this night different from all other nights, and what is the best latke topping on Chanukah? Join our clergy to explore the biggest questions we so often avoid, glean some Jewish wisdom, and share your own insights with us! (Note: This session will be offered twice.)
Help empower girls and women at Days for Girls, a grassroots non-profit organization that makes and distributes reusable, sustainable feminine hygiene kits to over one million girls and women in New York City, around the country, and abroad. You do not need to know how to sew to participate. This session will be offered twice.
